How to Dress for a First Date
Shopping March 20th, 2008A first date can be an intimidating experience. You are concerned with so many things. What should we do? Where should we go? Should we eat? What should I wear? Will we get along well? Will we hit it off? There are just so many thoughts to deal with. Fortunately, there is one thing you can do that will potentially improve the entire experience. It all comes down to how you dress.
Dressing well will improve your overall confidence and make communicating with your date happen more naturally since you won’t be so focused on what you could have done better. So take the time to pick out something to wear that will impress him/her. Make sure that it is appropriate to wear for what you will be doing and where you will be going. If it is a fancy night on the town, make sure to put on your classiest Prada shoes.
If you are going dancing, though, make sure those Gucci shoes are comfortable. You don’t want to get blisters and have to sit out before your date! That shouldn’t be too much of an issue since Prada clothing are usually some of the most comfortable.
Most importantly, though, just remember to be yourself. Most people can see through a façade and won’t be into a second date. It is always true that you are the most attractive person that you can be.
